In 2004, Stephanie moved to London from New York City in search of inspiration. What she found was herself and a desire to make things happen for things that really matter. INSIDE OUT has grown out of her own personal self-development journey. See more of Stephanie’s journey here.

INSIDE EXPERT
Sarah is a Mindfulness, yoga and relaxation teacher who founded Brilliant Beings to empower children to build resilience in the face of life’s challenges and experience mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. She has facilitated life-enhancing learning for school groups, teachers and parents across the Berkshire community. During our INSIDE sessions, Sarah helps children gain a ‘toolkit’ of ways to calm their minds and bodies and gain focus and confidence.

INSIDE EXPERT
MaryLouise is a Mindfulness teacher and relaxation specialist who has worked for the benefit and wellbeing of children for the past 10 years. She founded Creative Relaxation in Schools and Good to Be, two organisations dedicated to spreading mindfulness and relaxation in schools. She brings her in-depth understanding of wellbeing and her playful approach to helping young people cultivate curiosity and kindness to all our INSIDE initiatives.

OUTSIDE EXPERT
Jude’s 14 years of specialist experience combines outdoor learning with theatre, music and Forest School. She has managed curriculum-linked programmes for the Ufton Court Educational Trust and Montessori Schools and helps children in Reading’s urban areas connect to their green spaces with Nature Nurture. With a passion for raising aspirations through the environment and creativity, Jude inspires and challenges children during our OUTSIDE experiences.

HORSE EXPERT
Linda is Manager and Director of Checkendon Equestrian Centre, a British Horse Society approved riding school, which she established 20 years ago. Set in an inspirational location in the Oxfordshire countryside, Checkendon is a magical place for INSIDE OUT. Linda combines her vast equine and teaching knowledge to encourage an exciting, innovative and holistic approach to riding and horse management that helps children build character.

mikeMICHAEL TOWNSEND WILLIAMS
ADVISOR
Michael’s expertise in marketing, technology and developing programmes around wellbeing and innovation spans a 30+ year career. He has worked for large multi-national companies including Saatchi & Saatchi and now coaches individuals and senior executives on Mindful Productivity. From INSIDE OUT’s beginning, he has guided us in innovative and thoughtful directions and he continues to open our eyes to exciting possibilities.

Kerry comes to INSIDE OUT bearing her extensive background in education, drama and yoga. She was instrumental in setting up the first Oxfordshire Hospital School outreach classroom. As a teacher herself specialising in drama, as an actress and most recently as a yoga specialist, Kerry helps our team think creatively and holistically in a way that will benefit young children and be sensitive to their needs.

TERESA VERNEY-BROOKES
ADVISOR
Teresa has over 20 years of experience in the outdoor education sector. She has managed Learning Outside the Classroom programmes for national/international conservation charities including the RSPB and Wildlife Trust, Reading Borough Council and her own education consultancy, GreenTrees. Teresa helped launch the INSIDE OUT programme and continues to support us in our efforts to engage children with nature and positively impact their personal development.
