SECRET KINDNESS COMMENTS

PRACTISE KIND THOUGHTS ABOUT OTHERS.

Resources

Wall space with names/pictures of children, post-it notes, pens.

Instructions

  1. Create a wall space where children and teachers can post kind comments about other children or teachers at anytime throughout the day.

  2. Try to ensure that no-one is left out by encouraging children to post comments in empty spaces before adding more to those who already have kind comments.

Teacher Notes

To save time, you could use existing wall charts with photos of the class. You could also prepare a series of kind comments in advance and have children pin them next to people that they want to send kind thoughts to.

  • For example: ‘You are helpful’, ‘You are clever’, ‘You are funny’.
